The practice of this yoga class is based on the principles of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. This type of yoga is a dynamic and physically demanding style of Hatha Yoga, and students are encouraged to use Ujjayi Breathing (deep thoracic that moves from the back of the throat up through the nose). Asanas (pose) are held and synchronized with breathing to increase internal heat and detoxify muscles and organs.

This class is a light hearted approach (not deep meditative) and geared towards the active clientele of Signature Fitness (relief for those sore muscles!). Our class size allows us the unique opportunity to assist you with individual needs and goals while in the class setting. If you need an addition stretch or are trying to build strength in an area we can easily adjust to accommodate this. Class flow is body awareness, flexibility, balance and, strength. Namaste!
