Alison Hillman, Owner

I have been an Exercise Physiologist and a Physical Therapy Assistant for 20 years.  I previously worked at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA since 1998 in the Inpatient Rehab Department and also in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.  Helping people achieve their health and fitness goals has always been something that I have felt passionate about.

My goal when I opened up Signature Fitness MA is to bring a unique, personalized fitness center to the community.  I want everyone who walks in the door to feel comfortable.  I believe everyone is different and has their own exercise program that will work for them.  It is all about having fun, being challenged, but being safe at the same time.  My Physical Therapy background gives me the knowledge to make sure that I teach people the proper form of exercise which will eliminate the likelihood of injury.  My Exercise Physiology background gives me the knowledge to teach clients who might have a preexisting cardiac or pulmonary condition.  When I sit down with my clients and perform a total health and fitness evaluation I will design an Exercise Prescription that will be specific to their needs.  I offer one on one personal training along with teaching a variety of our classes.  I hope to bring a large variety of group classes to Signature Fitness MA to give people the opportunity to do the kind of exercise they enjoy!

I have been married for 16 years to a great man who has helped me open Signature Fitness MA and make it what it is today! I am also a mother of three, 14, 12, and 7 years old.   My children are a very big part of my life and you will often see them here.
